Finally… An Update

I know it’s been awhile.  I just got back from 3 weeks of being on the road across Canada doing Audio-Visual for some corporate product launch events.  The shows and travel were great we had a good time from Quebec to Vancouver and we had some time in between to visit and travel around so that was nice as well.

Last night Molly Blooms was packed, thanks to everyone who came out, especially Andrej from Calgary and Tom.  it was a great night, Tuesday’s here are really becoming a hot spot, make sure you come out next Tuesday for some cheap wings, drinks, All Request Top 40, dancing and good times.

Our next Scotia Entertainment Showcase night will be at Renaissance Cafe – 1938 Danforth Ave, Toronto on Friday January 18th.  The show starts at 9pm and will feature: Uncle Herb Dale, Jemo, Goodbye To Beauty and Daniel McKenzie.  This is a great lineup, I’m looking forward to the show, hope to see you there.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our annual Xmas Bash at Renaissance Cafe on December 21st to help us raise $432 for Sick Kids Foundation.

Air Traffic Control Tour

We had Air Traffic Control here for a week in Ontario and the tour went great.  Stops included the Rainbow Bistro in Ottawa, Phog Loung in Windsor, Laurinda’s Bar in Bradford, Port Dover Pier, Norma Jeans in London, Moonshine Cafe in Oakville and the Horseshoe in Toronto.  Thanks to all the venues, bookers and bands that were involved with these shows.  We are looking at booking the band back in Ontario in November, keep posted for more updates.   We should have some photos posted on here from the tour soon as well.  Check out Air Traffic Control at www.controltower.ca

Scotia Entertainment News – July 18th, 2007

We’ve got a bunch of great shows lined up this summer including….

On the third Friday of every month we host the Scotia Entertainment Acoustic Showcase at Renaissance Cafe in Toronto.  This month on July 20th we will be featuring: Uncle Herb Dale, Darryl Erickson, Ben Andress, Dave McEathron, and David Hein.  Check out www.renaissancecafe.ca or www.scotiaentertainment.com/events.shtml for more information. 

We have been hosting a regular monthly showcase at Moonshine Cafe in Oakville for the past little while, we just had our July show featuring Courtney Lynn, D’Anise and Carlos Morgan aka Carll Parkes.  This show went over great.  Our next show here is on Monday August 27th featuring Air Traffic Control (www.controltower.ca) on tour from Nova Scotia and Daivd Hein (www.davidhein.net).  Starting in September our monthly showcase at Moonshine Cafe will be held on the second Wednesday of every month.  For more info on The Moonshine check out www.themoonshinecafe.com

In Late August check out the other dates we have booked for Air Traffic Control while they are on tour of Central and Eastern Canada.  These guys are amazing and will be on tour promoting their new record!

In Cambridge, we are also booking most of the Friday night entertainment throughout July and August, we have some great entertainment lined up including Michael Pickett (www.michaelpickett.com), Tim Tibbitts (www.timtibbitts.com), David Hein (www.davidhein.net) and more…

Our side project, East Coast Proud is coming along well… check out the website: www.EastCoastProud.com to see what products we have.  You can also find our group on Facebook which is growing into a fairly good sized community.  Some of the products we are currently offering are: Donair Sauce, Music CD’s, Shirts, Clothing, Stickers, Flags, etc.  Any input you have on this project would be greatly appreciated.
